Trang Nguyen MD, PhD is the President of MedicusRx. She is a practicing Occupational Medicine physician in Houston, Texas. She completed the Doctoral Degree in Epidemiology at the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine. Dr. Nguyen is a clinician and a researcher. She was an Assistant Professor at UT Southwestern Medical School at Dallas, Department of Family Medicine. Dr. Nguyen is an author and a member of the Advisory Board for the journal Spine and the ODG Guidelines. She is also a Practice Advisor for an active Cardiology and Occupational Medicine Practice.

She was the lead author of “Long-term outcomes of lumbar fusion among workers' compensation subjects: a historical cohort study”. Spine 2011 Feb 15;36(4):320-31. She published in the British Medical Journal regarding CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Journal).

Her interests include: Evidence based medicine, Safe and Effective medical treatments for all injured workers, and Pharmacy cost management.
