Yet, most individuals and organizations don’t take advantage of this information because they don’t know how to access it. The better you understand a problem, the more options you have for preventing similar issues from happening going forward. The concepts for conducting an accurate and thorough problem analysis are not difficult, but they’re not widely practiced. Learning the fundamentals of cause-and-effect and how to diagram those relationships will improve the way you analyze, communicate and prevent problems. This webinar will demonstrate how this approach works across different types of incidents at varying levels of severity using examples like hand injuries, virus transmission (COVID-19), healthcare-related issues, as well as slips, trips and falls. In addition, specific tips on how to effectively document and present a problem to your managers and peers will be provided.
Mark has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado in Boulder and obtained his certification as a Reliability Engineer in 1993 through the American Society for Quality.
