Speaker: Andy Hoffman, Risk Program Director, Williamson County
Andy Hoffman currently serves as the Director of Risk Management for Williamson County, where he oversees the county’s risk, insurance, and safety programs with a focus on proactive loss prevention and operational resilience. He brings a diverse background in finance, technology, and public sector administration to the role.
Before joining Williamson County, he held several leadership positions at Austin Independent School District. He began there as a Senior Budget Analyst in 2019 and was quickly promoted to Director of Compensation and Employee Records. In March 2021, he became the Director of Risk Management, where he managed several catastrophes including the winter storm that damaged 75 AISD locations. Prior to his work in public education, he spent seven years at York Risk Services as an IT Product Manager, developing systems that supported claims and risk control operations across various sectors. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a minor in Construction from Missouri State University and earned his Certified School Risk Manager (CSRM) designation in 2022. Webinars are free for Texas PRIMA members. Must be a current member of Texas PRIMA to register.
